Some days are busier than others. Mondays are usually the worst, but damn did I get some stuff done today! Even if it felt like I was running around like a headless chicken to get it all done LOL
Edits on Salvage Bunny 3, tentatively titled Fallout On Darsaana, are moving right along, and I'm hoping to have that out to Nick and Casey by the end of the week for their feedback. This is the first time I've majorly altered my game plan for a novel after it was nearly written, so I'm hoping there aren't too many plot holes or loose ends. This is why having alpha readers is key. You can only read your own story so many times before you can't see the forest for the trees, so to speak.
(I have no idea what Disney movie that gif goes to LOL)
Anyways, Nick and I finished up our horror short story edits last week, and I gave him feedback on his 4HU short story last night. That story of his left me rather depressed, definitely disturbed, and vaguely nauseated, so I'd say he hit the mark. Seriously, it was dark AF, and so freaking good. But beverages were absolutely required after reading it. Here's an actual depiction of me last night:
Nick and I also *GASP* argued today!! Okay, fine. It wasn't an argument so much as a disagreement. I know, I know, evil twins aren't supposed to disagree, but we had to work out some plot holes in our next short story project, and this was the first time we didn't work things out in seconds. It was kinda fun, especially because we weren't assholes to each other, we just kept talking until we figured out something that worked for both of us and the story. WINNING!!
That's all I've got for now. DragonCon is right around the corner, and I've got sooooo many things I want to get done before I leave. Like pack. Crap. No time to waste. Until next week, folks!!
