AHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Ahem. Sorry. I had to get out some of that incoherent screaming before I could go any further. Valkyries released last Friday, and the early reviews are sooooo good ya'll. I'm super proud to be a part of that anthology, because, not only are the individual stories amazing, all of the authors are badass, and Marisa Wolf tied everything together in the best, freaking funniest way EVER. Seriously, if you do nothing else, pick up that anthology for the memos at the end of every story LOL.

You can watch us talk (and cackle) about our Valkyries here: https://youtu.be/oD_oFccC-gs

I actually finished Athena's first full-length novel back in April, and I'm already plotting out books two and three (because of this pesky little trilogy rule we have...oh no. The horror. I have to write more in Valkyries. So sad. LOL).

Athena is going to have to face the consequences of her actions in her short story, Angel Wings and Demon Bones, deal with her new life as a Shooter, possibly face down an ancestral evil...worst of all, she's going to have to learn to work with Sebastian, who is a first-class asshole. Also hot. For reasons. Mysterious reasons.

In Salvage news, Nick and I are nearly at the 70K mark in space hyenas 2, with all the pirate hijinks you never asked for...but we're giving to you anyways. You're welcome.

Salvage Bunny 2 is nearly at that coveted 'the end' mark at 110K. All that's left is the resolution and a kickass mech fight. Maybe some angst and feels. I'm bouncing back and forth between hyenas and Bunny, so it might take a little longer than I want, but that's all right. I love my Salvage Bunny crew so much I want to make sure I do right by them, and this story is shaping up to be epic.

That's all for this week! I've got space pirate hyena antics to write, a day job to do, science reports with the kids (yay homework), errands...hoo boy. And it's only Monday. Which totally answers this question:
